Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of Best Buy for customers visiting its stores. Best Buy provides training in the skills and knowledge needed to recommend tech products and services that meet customers’ individual needs. The role is suited to people interested in sales or helping others. The associate welcomes and engages customers, demonstrates products, answers questions, makes recommendations across departments, handles cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges, and helps maintain the sales floor. The role also includes supporting in-store and curbside pickup orders and maintaining product knowledge through ongoing learning and development.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of experience working in retail or another fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner.
- Perform product demonstrations, answer questions, and recommend products and services that meet customers’ needs across all departments.
- Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development.
- Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked.
- Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders.
