About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate helps create a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere where customers and donors feel welcome and comfortable. The role supports retail sales operations, donation processing, merchandise organization, and fundraising for AbleLight. Other duties may be assigned during the workday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for up to eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer telephone inquiries and respond to customers professionally.
• Assist donors by transferring merchandise from their vehicles into the building and offering tax receipts to every donor.
• Keep the inside and outside of the donation center organized and clean.
• Assist with stocking the sales floor, rotating stock, and arranging and organizing displays and merchandise.
• Support fundraising for AbleLight through register round-ups and other events.
