About The Position

Skechers is hiring an entry-level retail Sales Associate, also known as a Product Specialist, to engage with customers, provide exceptional service, and contribute to store success. The role involves advising customers about Skechers products, working toward sales goals, maintaining merchandise and displays, processing purchases, and collaborating with the store team. Employees receive on-the-job training and may have opportunities to grow within the company. The listed pay rate is $15.00.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Be eager to deliver excellent customer service in an entry-level retail role.
• Be driven to meet and exceed retail sales goals.
• Be reliable and detail-oriented, and be comfortable with cashier responsibilities.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule with evening and weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashier roles is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and provide personalized advice about Skechers products.
• Contribute to store and individual retail sales goals.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and manage merchandise to maintain the store.
• Lift and carry shoes and boxes, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and remain on their feet through most of the shift.
• Process customer payments accurately and handle cashier duties.
• Stay informed about Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories and share product details with customers.
• Collaborate with other employees to create an inviting store environment that reflects Skechers standards.
