About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at TJ Maxx Store 1096 in San Antonio, Texas, and has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles and practices.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
May work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
