About The Position

Sun Tan City is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to work in a high-energy, fast-paced salon environment. The role focuses on providing friendly, professional customer service, building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products and services. Associates also support sales goals, salon cleanliness, and teamwork while following company policies and procedures. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.75 to $17.75 plus bonuses, product and service discounts, flexible scheduling, training, wellness resources, and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Ability to provide professional customer service and build positive client relationships.
• Ability to recommend products and services and meet minimum sales requirements.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively with a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, professional customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Engage with clients, build relationships, understand their needs, and make recommendations for products and services.
• Meet minimum sales requirements.
• Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave while engaging with arriving clients.
• Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment and follow company policies and procedures.
• Use basic computer skills and knowledge.
