About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate is the store’s customer service specialist and reports to the Store Manager. The role focuses on exceeding customer expectations by listening to customers, identifying products that meet their needs, providing detailed product information, and closing sales. This is a seasonal, part-time position expected to end at the end of January 2027. Employees must be available for specified holiday dates: November 20–22 and November 27, 2026, and December 18–26, 2026. The position averages 12 or more hours per week based on business seasonality and requires open weekend availability, with religious exemptions considered.

Requirements

Strong communication skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts and percentages.
Ability to stand for long periods, read computer terminals, and push, pull, move, lift, or carry objects weighing at least 25 pounds.
Ability to maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
High school diploma or GED, or six months of retail or related experience.
Average availability of 12 or more hours per week, based on business seasonality.
Open availability on weekends; religious exemptions will be considered.
Availability on the specified Black Friday and holiday dates.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales goals.
Maintain brand and operational standards, including visual presentation and cleanliness.
Address customer needs and exceed expectations by following the UNIQLO service standard and Fundamental Principles and using the six standard phrases.
Know fitting room standards and provide assistance when needed.
Act as cashier when required and follow cashier protocol.
Process shipments and ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor in a full size run.
Assist management in identifying and resolving store issues.
Provide customers with product and brand knowledge.
Follow company policies and procedures and notify management of infractions.
Assist with special projects assigned by management.
