About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store performance by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, maintaining inventory and store organization, and helping keep daily operations running smoothly. Associates use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position offers opportunities for career growth in an automotive retail environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.

Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; and support smooth store operations and proper financial management.
Use established processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
