About The Position
Schillings is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant at its Saint John, Indiana location. The position is available full-time or part-time. The role supports customers and the sales team with customer service, paperwork, scheduling, quotes, orders, special orders, and delivery setup. The position has no night or Sunday work and offers advancement opportunities. Benefits are available to full-time employees.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Windows.
- Good math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Proficient scores on all candidate testing.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers when they enter and provide excellent customer service.
- File paperwork and track scheduling.
- Assist the sales team with quotes, orders, special orders, and setting up deliveries through dispatch.
- Complete required training.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain the best interests of the company.
- Perform other tasks or assume areas of responsibility as assigned by the Sales Manager, General Manager, or Schilling family.
