Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Mission Viejo
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You help keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You foster a warm environment that encourages customers to return and support your team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare the sales floor, review goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with a warm welcome and friendly, personal conversations. During the day, they recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities. They take pride in their work, strive to improve, achieve sales goals, and learn from one another to deliver individual and store results. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week; part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Be able to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours, lift at least 25 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and be able to process register transactions.
