Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Mission Viejo
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions, with attention to detail and genuine hospitality to ensure customers feel cared for. The role combines service and support: anticipating team needs, keeping the area shop-ready, and helping create customer experiences during the busy season. Seasonal colleagues typically work 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability. Flexible team players are needed to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Colleagues help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and ready for customers; stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions; welcome and engage customers; and maintain merchandise and displays. They support the team through collaboration and aim to achieve sales and store results. The position requires frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and shop-ready fragrance department and sales floor.
- Prepare products and restock displays.
- Welcome customers, engage them in friendly conversations, and build customer relationships.
- Stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
- Assist with customer transactions, including using register technology.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their purchases.
- Support colleagues through honest, caring, and collaborative teamwork.
- Work toward sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
