Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Short Hills
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You maintain a clean, organized, and visually engaging store by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and keeping the sales floor customer-ready. You provide friendly, high-quality service while supporting the team in achieving sales goals. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions. They welcome customers, create friendly personal conversations, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with coworkers to serve customers and communities. They take pride in their work, seek improvement, and contribute to individual and store results.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Be able to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
