About The Position
Magic Memories is hiring a Retail Photo Operations Assistant Manager at Dolly Parton's Stampede in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The role supports a high-volume souvenir photography retail operation, helping lead the retail team and deliver world-class guest service. The Assistant Manager may act as lead manager when the Retail Photography Manager is absent and will provide floor supervision and administrative support. The position also involves taking photos and helping guests create memorable photo souvenirs. The schedule is flexible, with shifts available any day of the week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, during operating hours. The position is part-time and non-exempt. Base pay is $18.00 per hour, plus performance-based commissions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of people-management experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to support teams, develop culture, coach, and manage ongoing performance.
- Ability and drive to contribute in a hands-on role, with demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy retail environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management, and cross-functional team members.
- Professional communication skills and appearance.
- Ability to support operations seven days a week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Background check.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of previous guest-service experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail; preferred but not required.
- Experience in digital photography.
Responsibilities
