About The Position

Performers at Dolly Parton's Stampede take part in live show performances in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The role includes horseback riding and other physically demanding, safety-sensitive activities involving live animals, props, and dynamic stage environments. Performers are expected to protect the safety of themselves, fellow performers, animals, and guests, and to follow established safety policies, procedures, and training requirements. Requirements

Positive attitude, energetic personality, and passion for entertaining.
Ability to perform horseback riding requiring balance, coordination, and control.
Ability to meet the physical demands described for rehearsals and performances.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain awareness in routine and high-pressure situations.
Ability to respond appropriately in emergencies using sound judgment.
Follow safety policies, procedures, training requirements, and applicable OSHA-related guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform horseback riding as part of live show performances.
Stand and move for extended periods during rehearsals and performances.
Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and engage in dynamic physical movement.
Occasionally move or lift materials weighing up to 100 lbs for performance or production needs.
Occasionally push or pull equipment exceeding 100 lbs.
Use hands to grasp, handle, and control equipment and reins.
Work safely in varied environments, including elevated positions, confined spaces, sand, and areas with moving mechanical parts.
Perform in proximity to live animals and moving objects.
Communicate effectively with team members during routine and high-pressure situations.
Maintain awareness of visual and auditory cues to support safe performance execution.
Respond appropriately to emergencies using sound judgment.
Follow company safety policies and OSHA-related guidelines.
Use required personal protective equipment when applicable.
Participate in safety training and rehearsals.
Promptly report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
