About The Position

As a Retail Photo Host at Kennywood Park, you will help guests enjoy memorable experiences by capturing special moments at the entertainment venue. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, using photography and customer-service skills to create a seamless guest experience and encourage photo purchases. The role also involves operating sales equipment, maintaining the workspace and equipment, and supporting sales goals. The position is seasonal and has an any/variable shift.

Requirements

• Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cameras, iPads, and point-of-sale systems, as well as basic PC knowledge.
• A professional, customer-satisfaction-oriented approach and an energetic, positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication, strong math, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to be cross-trained as a Cashier or Photographer.
• Flexible schedule and open availability, especially on weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and provide exceptional customer service.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate a camera and photograph guests at the entertainment venue, using appropriate lighting and angles or positions to encourage photo purchases.
• Keep the workspace clean and tidy and report equipment issues promptly.
• Operate a point-of-sale system and maintain adequate change denominations.
• Reconcile cash drawers, sales receipts, and returns.
• Cross-sell and upsell products while remaining team-oriented and meeting sales goals.
• Stay up to date on promotions and product information.
