About The Position

The Retail Photo Host helps guests have a memorable experience by capturing their special moments at Legoland New York. This role works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, providing customer service and taking guest photos with attention to lighting and positioning to encourage photo purchases. The host also operates point-of-sale systems, supports sales goals, maintains a tidy workspace, and reports equipment issues. The position is seasonal and located at Legoland New York in Goshen, New York.

Requirements

• Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cameras, iPads, and point-of-sale systems, plus basic PC knowledge.
• Customer-satisfaction orientation and an energetic, positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication, strong math, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to be cross-trained as a Cashier or Photographer.
• Flexible schedule and open availability, especially on weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and provide exceptional customer service.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate a camera and photograph guests at the entertainment venue, using suitable lighting and angles or positions to encourage photo purchases.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and report equipment issues promptly.
• Operate a point-of-sale system and maintain adequate change denominations.
• Reconcile cash drawers, sales receipts, and returns.
• Cross-sell and upsell products while working as part of a team and meeting sales goals.
• Stay up to date on promotions and product information.
