About The Position

The Retail Photo Host provides customer service at Sea Life Park, greeting guests and operating a camera to capture photos that encourage purchases. The role also includes point-of-sale transactions, maintaining a clean workspace and equipment, promoting products, and supporting sales goals. The position is part-time, with a flexible schedule and open availability—especially on weekends—and may involve working outdoors in varied weather conditions.

Requirements

• Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as cameras, iPads, and point-of-sale systems, and basic PC knowledge.
• A customer-satisfaction-oriented, professional approach with an energetic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication, math, and time-management skills.
• Openness to cross-training as a Cashier or Photographer.
• Flexible schedule and open availability, especially on weekends.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and provide exceptional customer service.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues effectively.
• Operate a camera and photograph guests, using suitable lighting and angles or positions to encourage photo purchases.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and promptly report equipment issues.
• Operate a point-of-sale system; maintain adequate change denominations; and reconcile cash drawers, sales receipts, and returns.
• Cross-sell and upsell products while supporting the team and meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about promotions and product information.
