About The Position

WIS International is hiring for a Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Associate - Inventory role with higher starting pay. This active job involves accurately counting inventory for top retailers, and no prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and performance-based pay increases. Associates will partner with healthcare professionals to capture critical inventory data like part numbers, serial numbers, NDC's, and expiration dates of medical devices and/or medications. The job requires maintaining high accuracy and productivity to increase earnings, traveling to retail locations, and clear communication. It emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Previous experience in retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, or general labor is considered valuable. No degree is required, and veterans, career changers, and those returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation
  • Completes pharmacy and hospital training certification, as required
  • Complies with all healthcare and pharmacy customer standards, including but not limited to screening requirements, PPE requirements and confidentiality requirements
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using handheld technology
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the LA County FCO and the California Fair Chance Act

Responsibilities

  • Partner one-on-one with healthcare professionals at an inventory event, capturing part numbers, serial numbers, NDCS and expiration dates of medical devices and/or medication.
  • Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meet productivity goals to increase earnings through our performance-based pay program.
  • Travel to retail locations.
  • Achieve established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all inventories worked.
  • Communicate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation.
  • Work one-on-one with Pharmacy professionals at the event.
  • Complete pharmacy training modules in the Learning Center, as required.
  • Create partnerships and instill trust and confidence in one's abilities, based upon demonstrated expertise.
  • Take initiative to explore and suggest new approaches that can impact quality and/or quantity of job performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Assist with events in healthcare and retail settings, as needed.
