About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a pharmacist for a retail pharmacy position in American Canyon, California. The role offers competitive compensation, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to contribute to an established community pharmacy team. The pharmacist will review and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, administer immunizations as authorized, oversee pharmacy workflow, support pharmacy technicians, and maintain medication safety and regulatory compliance. This is a per-diem opportunity. Full medical benefits and a 401(k) package are available subject to eligibility. Weekly direct deposit is provided, and mileage, toll, and hotel reimbursement may be available for approved assignments. Requirements
- Active California pharmacist license.
- Strong prescription verification, patient counseling, and immunization skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a retail pharmacy environment.

- Retail pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.
