About The Position

Framebridge is seeking a Design Consultant to join its Greenwich Village retail team. The role guides customers through the custom framing process, providing creative design advice and a welcoming, customer-first experience. It reports to the Store Manager and involves representing the Framebridge brand, building customer relationships, and helping deliver the company’s 100% happiness guarantee. Design Consultants inspect, photograph, and measure artwork using Framebridge tools, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and share suggestions for improving the retail experience. The role requires a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings and weekends. Physical duties include standing for up to eight hours per shift, light lifting of up to 30 pounds, and bending, reaching, and other light movement. Requirements

Experience in a customer service, retail, or hospitality role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an engaging personality.
Interest in design and enthusiasm for working in a creative environment.
Ability and eagerness to learn new tools, products, and processes.
Strong time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with clienteling outreach and growing business through customer relationships.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to eight hours per shift.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform bending, reaching, and light movement.
