About The Position

Framebridge is seeking a creative, warm, customer-first Design Consultant to join its Greenwich Village retail team. The Design Consultant advises customers through the custom framing process, shares product knowledge and design recommendations, and delivers a customer experience that encourages lasting relationships. This role reports to the Store Manager. The position requires a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs. Requirements

Experience in a customer service, retail, or hospitality role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an engaging personality.
Interest in design and enthusiasm for working in a creative environment.
Ability and eagerness to learn new tools, products, and processes.
Strong time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with clienteling outreach and growing a business through customer relationships.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry frames, supplies, or packaging materials.
Ability to bend, reach, and perform light physical movement as needed.

Responsibilities

Offer exceptional customer service and represent the Framebridge brand in retail stores.
Listen and communicate effectively to build relationships with customers.
Demonstrate product knowledge and provide design advice.
Inspect, photograph, and measure artwork using Framebridge tools.
Answer questions and troubleshoot issues using sound judgment.
Suggest ways to innovate and improve the retail experience.
