About The Position

Goodwill Northern New England is a nonprofit social enterprise that helps people achieve their life and work goals. Its stores sell affordable donated goods, and its warehouse and store employees divert more than 50 million pounds of donated goods from landfills annually.

The Retail Outlet Cashier uses a cash register POS and scales to complete customer transactions, tenders cash correctly, provides accurate change, and reconciles the cash drawer at the end of each shift. Prior warehouse or equipment experience is a plus, but the organization is willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must be over age 18 and complete a pre-employment background check.

Requirements

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Must undergo a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to use a cash register POS and scales to complete customer transactions.
• Ability to correctly tender cash and reconcile a drawer.
