About The Position

The Retail Operations Associate supports store operations by handling shipments and receiving, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to provide customers with a positive in-store experience.

They work effectively with a team, provide welcoming and knowledgeable customer service, identify and address opportunities or issues, manage priorities and details in a fast-paced environment, and follow procedures that protect people and assets.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships.
• Ability to provide excellent, customer-focused service.
• Ability to take initiative and learn quickly.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn and use retail technology, systems, equipment, and computer programs.
• Ability to follow protocols and guidelines to protect people and assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to inventory control.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Prepare for and execute inventory cycle counts.
• Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
• Print and place point-of-purchase signage and price signs.
• Handle cash.
• Maintain awareness of shrink and help control it.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
