About The Position

As an Operations Associate at Guitar Center, you will support store operations by shipping and receiving stock and shipments, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to provide customers with a great in-store experience. The role calls for collaboration, customer focus, initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to learn and use retail technology and systems. You must be able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours, work weekends, holidays, and evenings, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to inventory control.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Prepare and execute inventory cycle counts.
• Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
• Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
• Handle cash.
• Maintain awareness of shrink and help control it.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
