Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers provide retail merchandising services for a variety of clients and retailers, including product resets, product cut-ins, returns, placement of point-of-purchase materials, and other general merchandising activities. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than for specific hours, offering a flexible schedule. Available assignments include ongoing work with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer goods services, using software solutions and experienced resources to help clients make products available and present them effectively. The company states that it has more than 50 years of industry experience.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
