Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About The Position

SPAR is hiring part-time Retail Merchandisers to service a variety of clients and retailers through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Merchandising work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than at set hours, offering a flexible schedule. Duties may include servicing products, completing resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. Some travel between stores may be involved. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer-goods services, using software solutions and experienced resources to help ensure clients’ products are available and presented effectively. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays.
Remove old product from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
