About The Position
L&R is seeking a part-time to full-time Field Merchandiser to service retail stores in Milton, Swanton, Enosburg Falls, St. Albans, Morrisville, and Essex Junction, Vermont. The role ensures products are stocked, organized, and displayed properly across assigned retail locations, and supports store resets by implementing planograms, relocating products, setting shelves, and ensuring displays meet company and retailer standards. The schedule is up to 20 hours weekly, with service hours between 6 AM and 5 PM; work until 8 PM requires authorization. The hourly pay rate is $18.00. Mileage, tolls, and drive time are reimbursed or paid as described in the posting. Part-time benefits include state sick time and 401(k) options. Employees may have the opportunity to transition to full-time after 60 days if they consistently meet 30 or more hours weekly. Requirements
- Previous merchandising or retail experience.
- Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool to access higher fixtures, signage, and elevated products.
- Ability to perform physical work, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with tablets and smartphones.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Registered vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Car insurance.
- Motor vehicle report showing three or fewer moving violations within the last 36 months.

Responsibilities
- Place orders for required inventory according to store ordering guidelines using a company-supplied tablet and scanner with Repsly software.
- Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies, working closely with the District Manager.
- Follow the store visit process, including merchandising deliveries from previous orders, completing task forms, taking photographs, placing orders to maintain stock levels, and completing other requested projects.
- Implement planograms and schematics accurately to reset cosmetic displays, fixtures, and sections according to provided instructions.
- Complete resets according to L&R standards and project timelines.
- Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures as needed to match planogram specifications.
- Process customer returns associated with resets according to L&R returns and reclamation guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies regarding invoicing, exchanges, and returns.
- Communicate efficiently with store associates during each store visit.
- Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt and confirm they are checked in by authorized store personnel.
- Communicate professionally with store management and store associates.
- Clean and organize display cases and shelves.
- Conduct requested store surveys and audits, including photographing assigned departments to help resolve store issues.
- Service additional stores as business needs require.
