About The Position

The Part-Time Retail Merchandiser services retail accounts in West Chester, Ohio, helping bring leading pet brands to store shelves. This independent, on-the-go role involves traveling between retail locations, stocking and organizing products, maintaining displays, and providing customer service to store teams. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, for 5–6 hours per day, with no weekends or evenings. Pay is $16.50 per hour, with mileage reimbursement of $0.56 per mile and a monthly phone stipend of $25.

Requirements

• Previous retail merchandising experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Comfort using scanners, box cutters, carts, and dollies.
• Smartphone and access to a computer.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, pull, and remain active throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, scan, and stock products using RF technology.
• Organize and replenish shelves according to planograms.
• Place inventory replenishment orders.
• Build relationships with store teams and receiving staff.
• Set up and maintain displays and promotional signage.
• Handle returns and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Check email and voicemail for updates and instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Drive safely between retail locations.
