About The Position

Works as a member of the store team to support an excellent customer and brand experience and promote sales. The role processes donated merchandise for sale at Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay store locations, including pricing and ticketing, while meeting assigned department quotas and sell-through expectations. The position also supports store standards, safety, and Goodwill’s core values in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Requirements

Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Ability to lift, bend, push, turn, and manipulate fine objects.

Responsibilities

Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, while meeting the minimum quota, item-per-Gaylord, and sell-through standards for the assigned department.
Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report theft, pre-selection, misappropriation, or unauthorized possession.
Maintain the sales floor and workstation according to floorwork and PPM (picture process map) standards.
Stock merchandise in the appropriate area as assigned.
Use appropriate judgment and observation to inform a leader of potentially hazardous or dangerous materials found while processing merchandise for storage or disposal.
Follow safety rules, use appropriate safety equipment, and immediately act on or report unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
