Retail-Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Retail-Merchandise Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to meet business needs. Associates support a positive store culture, promote credit and loyalty programs, process purchases and returns, prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and maintain merchandising, recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
