Full-Time Retail Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Retail Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; processes purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and prepares, maintains, and recovers merchandise according to company procedures. The associate also supports store cleanliness, shrink reduction, and safety efforts, follows applicable labor laws and policies, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the company merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
