About The Position

Sodexo, a leader in quality-of-life services, has an immediate opening for a Retail Manager 2 at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. Bergen New Bridge Medical Center (BNBMC) is a large hospital and nursing home facility that provides comprehensive services to the greater Bergen County community. The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing store operations, including managing cash, training staff, preparing orders, addressing customer concerns, and growing the business.

Requirements

A work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills
Previous supervisory experience
Ability to work collaboratively
Culinary production experience
Strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional communication skills
Passion for a high level of customer service
Ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team
Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC), Sodexo Menu Graphics (SMG), Catetrax
Proficient in computer skills and report management experience
Computer skills required
Minimum 1 year of management experience

Responsibilities

Managing cash positions throughout the store
Training and developing your store associates to encourage internal promotion
Preparing food and beverage orders for customers
Addressing customer concerns and ensuring guests are as happy as possible
Growing the store business by encouraging a positive and productive work environment
