About The Position

The Retail Store Inventory Lead is an essential member of the store leadership team and leads the store’s inventory program, managing inventory-related tasks. The role works closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to support the team, customers, and business needs. It requires initiative, strong assessment and organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to changing day-to-day business needs in a fast-paced retail environment. The Inventory Lead helps create an effective back-of-house experience, keeps the stockroom organized and easy to navigate, and works with the sales team to support excellent customer service. The role manages inventory processes including cycle counts, transfers, restocks, and shipment receiving, while identifying and communicating product concerns. The role requires availability to work at least one weekend day and some holidays. It involves staying active and moving throughout the store, and lifting and moving products, equipment, and boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. The position is paid hourly, with team pooled commission.

Responsibilities

Create a dynamic experience for the back of house.
Build lasting relationships with store managers, team members, and customers.
Work with the sales team to ensure customers receive the best service possible.
Keep the back room tidy, organized, and easy to navigate.
Ensure destocking and restocking are handled daily.
Attend monthly inventory meetings.
Manage weekly cycle counts.
Manage store-to-store transfers.
Manage weekly manual restocks to ensure the sales floor is fully stocked.
Ensure shipments are received and processed promptly, following up with store managers when needed.
Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.
