About The Position

We have a four-month opportunity for a Retail Intern to join our award-winning firm in our Vancouver office. The contract will be from May to August/September, with potential for an extension. In this role, you will work in a highly successful, fast-paced, seven-person team. You excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work while staying accurate and delivering excellent client service. You thrive in an environment that requires juggling competing priorities, and you are committed to operational excellence by going above and beyond your day-to-day responsibilities. This role requires the successful candidate to work onsite in the office five days per week.

Requirements

Pursuing post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
1–2 years of customer service experience
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasks
Strong client services skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Reliable team player who enjoys collaborating with others
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365

Knowledge of financial services or investment industry is an asset

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative and processing support
Support Investment Advisor, Assistants, and other team members with client communication and account documentation
Conduct security and market research and data-gathering
Prepare marketing materials
Administer policies and procedures and adhere to department guidelines
Establish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
