About The Position

Retail Intake Clerk, Littleton, NH Check in purchased shipments & perform quality checks on incoming materials for our busy Coin Buying dept. Authorize & handle dealer payments/returns. In this fast-paced job, you’ll receive, record and organize incoming materials for our vast retail inventory. Working to ensure the accuracy of vendor information, you’ll also maintain our computer’s log system to create shipment groups.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 20/20 corrected vision with intact color discrimination
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 60 lbs
  • Excellent numerical and business math skills
  • Legible penmanship
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Ability to use calculator and adding machine
  • Knowledge of U.S. coin types (will train)

Responsibilities

  • Receiving incoming dealer shipments
  • Reviewing invoices and verifying product counts and dollar amounts
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all vendor information
  • Processing modern and manufactured items for inventory
  • Sorting coins by date and mint mark
  • Accurately identifying common coin types by date, mint mark and basic variety (will train)
  • Retailing modern manufactured products to ensure accurate cost and SKU assignments
  • Verifying accuracy of dealer returns and preparing for delivery
