The Retail & Guest Services Associate delivers an exceptional experience for every visitor during our busy winter season. This hybrid position supports both the Gift Shop and Exhibition Front-of-House teams — greeting guests, processing sales, maintaining a welcoming environment, and helping ensure safety and fun throughout the space. You’ll handle a variety of responsibilities including ticket and retail transactions, guest assistance, exhibit monitoring, and maintaining clean, organized areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1–3 years of customer service or retail experience
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable learning and using POS systems and basic computer software
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or challenging situations
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Vend POS or Google Drive
  • Bilingual or multilingual
  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality, museum, or entertainment environments

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Sell admission tickets and retail merchandise using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle card transactions accurately.
  • Share information about Meow Wolf’s exhibits, events, and policies.
  • Monitor crowds and exhibits to ensure guest and facility safety; report issues as needed.
  • Restock merchandise, conduct inventory counts, and maintain product knowledge.
  • Support special events or 21+ functions as needed, following proper safety and access protocols.
