About The Position

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate to help create an exceptional shopping experience through eagerness to help, product knowledge, high standards, and the ability to prioritize. The role includes assisting customers, maintaining merchandise presentation, promoting company programs, following store policies, and supporting teammates across the store. Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and occasionally lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of up to 4 hours.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of up to 2 hours continuously.

• Prior retail experience.
• Golf industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Follow established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, and inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, and maintain confidentiality of Company information.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
