About The Position

Store teammates at DICK’S Sporting Goods create a positive shopping experience through eagerness to help, product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and effective prioritization. The role supports customers and store operations while helping create an inclusive environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected. Teammates also take an all-hands-on-deck approach to supporting the store and perform other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and occasionally lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs, up to five times per hour.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of up to four hours.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of up to two hours continuously.

• Prior retail experience.
• Golf industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Follow company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain the confidentiality of Company information.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
