About The Position

The Fragrance RSS Colleague provides professional customer service by selling and demonstrating fragrances and related items, while contributing to the department’s success. The role also involves fulfillment and other duties as needed. This is a part-time position at Macy’s Bellevue Square location, supporting the Dior fragrance counter. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week; actual hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to digital and in-store customers, making appropriate partnerships when necessary.
• Explain and demonstrate fragrances through actual application or card application.
• Partner with the Fragrance Counter Manager or CSX Manager regarding inventory and other inaccuracies.
• Attend product training classes and seminars.
• Ensure proper presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock.
• Participate in pre-selling and sales-driving events to maximize sales.
• Process new receipts, damages, testers, and returns to vendors in a timely manner.
• Keep the work area free from hazards and work safely.
• Follow Asset Protection, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Comply with hygiene standards.
• Follow shortage programs and procedures.
• Foster acceptance and respect, strengthening relationships and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform fulfillment and other duties as necessary.
