About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 to lead high volume retail operations for their food team at HMH Jersey Shore Medical Center located in Neptune City, New Jersey. This medical center is a major regional academic medical center with approximately 700 beds, including a children's hospital.
Requirements
- Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
- Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
- excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
- strong coaching and employee development skills
- have a passion for food and innovation
Responsibilities
- Ensure a zero-harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation, including branded concepts, ensuring employees have appropriate equipment, supplies, and resources.
- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
- Maintains client satisfaction with food quality & customer service.
- Accountable for delivering service quality by maintaining the highest standards.
- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.
