About The Position

The Retail Food Salesperson is a full-time, field-based outside sales role serving grocery stores, restaurants, and food service businesses across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, with a home base around Springfield, Virginia. The salesperson develops new business, maintains relationships with existing customers, promotes and sells products, and grows the sales territory. Compensation includes a base salary, commission, and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Must be able to speak Spanish.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Positive attitude and self-motivation.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Comfort using a computer, phone, and basic business software.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
Full-time availability with a flexible schedule.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales experience, particularly outside sales or in the food service industry.
At least 1 year of sales experience.
Experience in the grocery, restaurant, or food distribution industry.

Responsibilities

Visit existing and prospective customers throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Promote and sell products to grocery stores, restaurants, and food service businesses.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
