About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Manager 3 to lead retail dining operations at USC Arcadia in Arcadia, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about food service excellence, team development, and delivering a best‑in‑class customer experience in a fast‑paced campus environment. You’ll play a key role in driving operational success while upholding Sodexo’s high standards for quality, safety, and service.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of management experience
  • 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
  • Experience managing high-volume retail food or dining operations, preferably in campus or hospitality settings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse teams
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, operational controls, and customer service best practices
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of assigned retail food venues, ensuring exceptional service, food quality, and presentation
  • Manage, train, and develop frontline staff, fostering a positive, accountable, and customer-focused culture
  • Oversee scheduling, labor controls, inventory, and cash handling to meet financial and operational goals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Sodexo and client policies and procedures
