About The Position

Apple is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager for the Retail Finance PART (Process, Analytics, Reporting and Technology) team. The role partners with leads in finance, operations, strategy, analytics, and IT to optimize processes through data and technology solutions, and to support the Retail and Retail Finance roadmap through strategy, planning, and execution.

The Program Manager works directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and partners with engineering teams to deliver user-centered solutions. The position calls for strategic thinking alongside close attention to deliverables, self-direction in a global, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels. The manager connects teams, builds trust and understanding, and coordinates activities needed to deliver projects, particularly large technical projects spanning multiple functional teams and/or systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in program and/or portfolio management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a global, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
• Experience managing large technical projects involving multiple functional teams and/or systems.

• Proven ability to lead strategic programs while executing tactical project-level activities.
• Experience planning, managing, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional systems projects.
• Proficient knowledge of systems implementation, development lifecycles, and enterprise-scale systems.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills for all organizational levels.
• Strong organization, collaboration, and cross-functional abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams with or without direct reports and influence without authority.
• Technical acumen to strategize effectively on solutions with IT teams.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling.
• MBA or technical graduate degree.
• Experience in finance, internal tools, or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance, operations, strategy, analytics, and IT leads to drive optimization through process, data, and technology solutions.
• Develop and execute strategies, plans, and operational and technical solutions that support the Retail and Retail Finance roadmap.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and partner with engineering teams to deliver user-centered solutions.
• Lead strategic programs while managing tactical project-level activities.
• Plan, manage, and deliver large-scale, cross-functional systems projects.
• Translate business problems into clear product requirements and feature specifications.
• Coordinate activities across teams and systems, build trust and understanding between groups, and help ensure project success.
• Identify and address risks, gaps, and communication breakdowns.
