Retail Experience Coordinator - Fenmoor Golf Club
About The Position
The Retail Experience Coordinator supports retail merchandise operations at Fenmoor Golf Club. Working with the Director of Retail and Merchandise Manager, the coordinator handles merchandise shipping, receiving, distribution, and transfers; oversees visual merchandising; supports member retail events and inventory activities; assists with purchasing and product selection; and helps maintain an organized storeroom. The role also supports staff training, promotions, shop re-merchandising, and seasonal product transitions. The coordinator is expected to enhance the member retail experience through excellent service and retail activities designed to drive sales.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of retail merchandising and/or inventory control experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with basic accounting procedures and processes.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow projects through to completion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Aptitude to learn Jonas Club Inventory software.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. and perform duties involving bending, standing, stooping, and pulling.
- Dedication to enhancing the member retail experience through exemplary service and retail activities aimed at driving sales.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Director of Retail and Merchandise Manager on shipping, receiving, and distribution of soft and hard goods for resale.
- Process Distribution Center-to-Store and Store-to-Store merchandise transfers.
- Oversee visual merchandising and presentation of hard and soft goods.
- Assist with the preparation, execution, sales, and breakdown of merchandise for member retail events at the Fenmoor Golf Shop.
- Provide ongoing staff training in customer service, sales techniques, product knowledge, and visual presentation standards.
- Create, communicate, and implement retail merchandise promotions for the Fenmoor Golf Shop.
- Collaborate with the Director of Retail and Fenmoor staff professionals on shop re-merchandising initiatives and seasonal product transitions.
- Assist the Director of Retail and Fenmoor professional staff with preparation, execution, and reconciliation of quarterly inventory.
- Assist the Director of Retail with merchandise purchasing and product selection for the Fenmoor Golf Shop.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient storeroom, ensuring merchandise is properly stored and readily accessible.
- Perform job responsibilities according to company safety and training programs.
- Report safety or hazard concerns and job injuries to management.
- Take personal responsibility for safety every day.
