About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Employee / Project Specialist performs a range of duties to provide customers with a positive experience when shopping in the store or picking up an order. The role involves engaging with customers to help solve organizational challenges, selling storage and organization solutions, supporting checkout and order fulfillment, maintaining merchandise and store areas, and assisting with stockroom organization and carryout. This is a seasonal position.

Requirements

High school diploma preferred.
Strong computer skills.
Enjoy engaging with people and connecting with customers.
Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the changing nature of retail.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet customers at the front entrance or throughout the store.
Connect with customers and suggest solutions to their organizational challenges.
Design and sell custom closets and other storage and organization solutions.
Operate the register with a strong focus on the customer experience.
Introduce customers to and enroll them in the rewards program.
Process merchandise during early morning or evening shifts, according to the schedule.
Maintain the sales floor, keeping shelves stocked and presented according to brand standards.
Assist customers with carryout to their cars, including curbside and parking lot or garage assistance.
Assist with store cleaning, including dusting, restroom cleaning, and vacuuming.
Process customer orders for curbside pickup and/or delivery.
Organize and maintain the stockroom to support store sales.
Meet established task time expectations while working accurately and promptly, with pace and attention to detail.
Actively engage with customers to solve their organizational challenges.
