About The Position

The Retail Deli Associate, also described as a Deli Attendant, is responsible for safe food handling and providing strong customer service. This is a safety-sensitive position. The role involves assisting customers with food orders, maintaining an organized work area, answering phone lines, restocking items, and supporting coworkers.

Requirements

• Must be willing to become certified in safe food handling upon hire.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to importance and need.
• Ability to communicate using proper telephone etiquette with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Strong team-player focus in interactions.
• Ability to handle money, give change, and record multiple transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Must exhibit a professional and positive image.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
