About The Position
Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Retail Customer Service Representative/Cashier to engage with customers, support daily store operations, contribute to team success, and help create a welcoming, efficient environment. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is passionate about creating positive customer experiences. The position delivers customer service at the point of sale and supports department upkeep, store procedures, loss prevention, and other operational needs. Requirements
- Strong customer service mindset and genuine interest in creating positive customer experiences.
- Effective communication skills and ability to assist multiple customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the store for the duration of each shift.
- Frequent manual lifting and carrying of objects up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting of 11–75 lbs and rare lifting of up to 100 lbs to load, unload, and shelf products.
- Frequent use of manual tools, including dollies and carts, alongside repetitive keyboard operation.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale, ensuring a smooth checkout experience and fostering customer loyalty.
- Meet customer service standards and handle difficult customer situations courteously and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department through replenishment, cycle counts, and merchandising support.
- Recommend and sell appropriate service plans.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Support store operations by promoting loss prevention awareness, assisting with basic office functions, and helping prepare for physical inventory.
- Follow operational policies and procedures to meet company standards.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
