About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean spaces, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Duties may vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided.

Cashiers help customers locate items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs. They process transactions, balance the register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following applicable state and local laws. They also use various methods and technology to maintain food safety for fresh food and deli products, and clean their work area and other store areas.

Team members may be cross-trained in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The role requires moving and lifting more than 25 pounds and working in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use methods and technology to ensure food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps; complete trash runs.
• Be available for cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
