About The Position
Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean locations, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Duties vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided. The role may also include cross-training in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Flexibility and teamwork skills.
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
- Use methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the assigned work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- May cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
