Retail Customer Service Cashier
About The Position
Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces while providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and complete register transactions while offering additional sales opportunities. Cashiers may perform other duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided. The position may include cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Flexibility and teamwork skills.
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address their needs.
- Complete customer transactions and balance the cash register while following state and local laws.
- Offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Use methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
