About The Position

At Love’s, cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean spaces, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Duties vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Cashiers may also cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The role involves moving and lifting more than 25 pounds and working in various temperatures.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Remain flexible and work as part of a team to support business needs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
